Irv was on drink champs saying he shut 50 down and should have done more to stop him getting with em and Dre. 50 well with in his right to not give a fukk. What's lame about not fukking with a nilka who tried to shut you down?

Once a dude died, its over. This is corny, he had many chances to put hands and feets on the man. But he aint do it.

So now just stfu

The idea that because something turned violent there is never any forgiveness or just dismissal, just because you are 'street' is not true.

That's just 50's persona. Plus, he's clearly hooked to the drama and likes on instagram which is embarrassing, but that's just life now. Gotti and Doplh kinda did the same thing. I could tell my own experiences, but sometimes it's just over, and you realize the person isn't worth hating, or carrying a grudge. The same way you can fight someone and laugh about it years later. It's not that different. People's egos get caught up in the game.

There's like drug trafficking organizations that have committed murders up and down both sides, and they just decide: no more. Major gang leaders who lose family members just say we are going to stop this, and shake hands and move on. Doesn't mean we are boys, but sometimes you become friends too. I ran into a dude I've known since like 5th grade, we got into an issue like 20 years ago, we fought, but we kept it kinda cool after, and then years later when I saw him we hugged and shook hands like men, and we both apologized for what went down, just like that.

Did he shoot you 9 times or stab you..try to stop you from working?

98% of us will never experience that type of beef.. thats why the 2% we do see have 50s type attitude and we don't understand why.. we say shyt like let it go..

Glad you and dude made up like men..but it's not the same bro.

Bruh people have shot each other, robbed each other, stabbed each other, etc and were fine down the line. 50 may be the only scenario yall know of, but these things have happened to many people and plenty of guys are cool later, or at the very least, cordial...

50 is 50, and there are definitely guys like 50. But he's not the prototype of what every street guy who been in his position, is...

I wanted to do those things to him lol

we had mututal respect and even a friendship, he knew he couldn't TAX me, but he said some shyt like that.

and sure you can qualify the one example I used, I know we didn't try to kill each other, but I know other situations like that, they just cooled off over the years. I ran into a dude like that when I was in a halfway house, he tried to shoot at my homies, they lit his car up. Called me threatening me. He was an enemy. My boys shot at his Grandma's house. But it wasn't that time anymore. We couldn't even tell you where or why these situations even started, much less justify them. And that's the ego part.

I look back at those like damn that was so reckless and thoughtless. Yeah, those guys were lames, but we didn't need to do all that. We were ready to shoot each other, over what? Some girls we all slept with? Who had more ounces? Who had better cars? who had more money? ( i mean we did lol but who's counting)

I understand that Murk.. me and you generally agree on everything. But telling a person who almost got killed to let it go is asking a ton. Like I would never tell a person they have to let it go. I would tell them not to retaliate, but just let it go? That's a helluva ask bro.

I get what everyone saying trust me. I would have loved to see 50 not comment at all..

Damn RIP

I fukked with 50 more back in the day, but looking back I think a lot of the Ja/Ashanti/ Murder inc music aged better than 50's Shady Aftermath stuff.

I still like Pre-Shady 50 the most though.

This is a really good point. I followed 50 since 1999, had his first EP. So I like Power of the Dollar, the mixtapes, The Massacre,

but the Ja Rule era still holds up too. Just at the time, it came to a hard stop in real time. I was around. Ja was pretty done by late 2003. I still played his shyt, but it wasn't hot anymore.
