If it's real beef, you are never, ever going to "turn the other cheek".
This isn't true, many people have...

50 is just an immature man who never grew up. He aint gotta give public condolescences but his reaction to Irv's passing this far removed from them having any real issues, is immature but also on brand for Fif...

Also I need someone to remind me of the Irv and Fif beef. If I recall correctly, Irv wasn't a real player in the Fif/Preme shyt, right? Irv and Fif were a rap beef that came from Irv's associations to Preme, I thought, but correct me if I'm wrong...

Regardless, there are guys out here who've forgiven guys who shot them and been cordial later, guys who dropped hits on em, robbed em, etc. This notion that if a man tried to kill you it creates eternal beef isn't true for many guys, though it is true for some. Mf's in the streets get over all kinds of shyt all the time...

50 just a lame and the money and fame never took the lameness outta him...

People be praising guys for keeping it real but when they really do that they say it too far. It’s ok to talk about being gangster for your whole career but when you actually do what you rap about it’s bad now? 50 said many times he couldn’t stand those dudes so why would anyone expect him to all of a sudden be compassionate towards him for the public?

I get it that people wouldn’t do what he did but they ain’t him and they ain’t go through his situation so they don’t know.

In his last Drink Champs interview he basically said his diabetes was acting up but he didn’t care so he was just gonna live it up and eat/drink whatever he wanted. He had a stroke last year and didn’t look good at all.
I obviously don't know the details but that's a shame. I don't understand that mindset. Not like he was 80.

I've had money on my head in the streets, and proverbial money on my head in prison...

If the guys who placed the hits die, I have no desire for public praise, but I also don't care enough the other way, those situations are old and dead. The guy in prison, have no clue where he is or what he's doing. The guy from the streets, last I heard, he was still alive and very well as of 2021 or '22 (last I heard anything about him). I wouldn't be fukked up if he passes but I ain't got a reason to celebrate it either, I don't care that much...

This "people" right here that you referencing has been in those shoes, though, so I am speaking from experience. But not just mine, I clearly said there's many guys who have forgiven slights against them...

50 just a immature grown ass man...

The whole premises of the show is bad. Add in Nore interrupting and not being focused.

Those interviews tarnished people like Irv something serious.

Will all the health problems older hip-hop aged Black men are facing, we have our supposed to be OGs promote the behavior that’s killing them with the most vulnerable age bracket?
But then they see the consequences.

RIP Gotti, has enough charisma and business sense to make something for himself

50 is crazy, glad he deleted the post. Although I'm quite sure he does post-and-deletes not because he had second thoughts, but so he doesn't look as bad in the public eye

Seeing all those old hits being posted, all these beats were made by 7 Aurelius. J Prince discovered him and signed him to a publishing deal, then linked him with Irv. 7 would sever ties with Irv after he sharked him for producer credits too many times. Very underrated producer, I think he changed his name to Channel 7 afterwards. He really was responsible for that classic Murda Inc sound.

EDIT: Just wiki'd and apparently he did the Violent Crimes beat from the 'Ye album. Irv also credited so I guess they patched things up?
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. RIP to Irv but IDK what he actually produced for Murder Inc.. I think at MI/Def Jam he was more of an ideas guy. Big picture shyt. Dame Grease did a lot too.
