The D (where it's so cold)
I can't believe Mase was only 48. I know he's been out the league for awhile but still feels like it hasn't been that long, I can still remember his pass to Vince for that crazy windmill in the 2001 ASG game.:wow: This is especially terrible for me because I grew up watching Mase and those Knicks teams, so seeing someone pass like that it definitely has an impact, this hit me a little harder.

RIP Anthony Mason

Rip. That's some scary shyt. Congestive heart failure...you get heart attacks like headaches. You can get a heart attack due to being too hot, cold, standing up too quick, eating something spicy...

Eat well brehs. Youtube can teach you how to cook. Chicken breasts, salmon, sautéed veggies, brown rice, pastas. Easy and cheap.

RIP to Mase. He was a very good player who was sort of a predecessor for players like Lebron with the big body who could handle the rock and dish it too. Seems like it was just yesterday that I was watching him give teams hell in the league.

Bet that dude would never know about the time the Piss-ons walked off the floor against the Magic before the game was over that caused a ruckus before I posted this :mjpls:

EDIT: Just tried searching it, it's not even on the internets :lupe: And I aint talkin about the Pistons walking off versus the Bulls. Talking a lil' later :mjpls:

Anyone got the video :to:
U talking about the time the Piston's stood off the floor when Darrell Armstrong called that timeout so that he could get his 10th assist for his 1st triple-double?

Sad that Mase passed away...dude was heart and soul of those 90's Knicks teams and basically embodied everything about them especially with the toughness and aggression he played with.

Met him as a young'n and he was actually pretty cool.

RIP Mase :to:

that's my GOAT goon squad :mjcry:

RIP Mase

Miss this squad so much, I remember watching games where there would be a loose ball and NOT ONE member from the opposing team would go for it, it would just be Mase and Oakley fighting each other for the ball. Good times

RIP Mase, this one hit me hard. Me & my pops was just talking about dude the night before he passed, and he was telling me that Mase used to be out in the clubs heavy, especially at Perks. I even remember seeing him a few times when I was at St. John's when his eldest son played for us. Mase was the definition of a NYC dude, he was tough, had swag & most of all heart.

Love
I always hated him when he was with the Knicks. :leostare:
Him and Xavier McDaniel. THought they were just bullies with no real skills on a basketball court.
But when he went to the Hornets and then came to play for Miami the year we lost Mourning (kidney illness) i learned to appreciate his skills and contributions :manny:
May he rest in Peace. People who played with him seem to like him. Must have been a good teammate.
