Livemixtapes was trash. The buffering on its streaming player sucked, too many ads, you needed to enter a code to download, and they didn’t have 20% of the mixtapes DatPiff had. They never supported independent artists until the end and when they finally did they made it a separate site.
Live mixtapes was the worst you couldn’t even find the artists that were on the rise only artist already established in the industry until like 2011.
I overdosed off of downloading mixtapes off Datpiff. That's how I got all the Young Thug mixtapes circa 2013 before he blew up.

Datpiff was lowkey like a hip hop library..now these young nikkas will NEVER know why Gunit, Dipset, D Block, Fabolous, Jeezy, Gucci Lil Wayne, Wiz, Max B, and many other mixtape legends are looked at as they are now
