A lot of Hiphop promotes senseless killings and a lot of other ignorant actions. For most of older cats, it's just lyrics and we don't think much of it, but to a lot of these younger dudes, these lyrics are scriptures. They worship these rappers.

A lot of our people are depressed and don't know it. We deal with so much, racism, poverty, dysfunctional family, the hood. So much angry built up, mix that with listening everyday to audio scriptures that say kill anyone that crosses you.

when I made my statement I WAS AMONGST a plethora of young black kids ....a few of them whom come from A MIDDLE CLASS BACKGROUND..

we were in the library yesterday when one of the kids pops up in the library with a "double cup" in his hand

Not a single album even a fukking tweet. But when he gets popped all of a sudden he is Tupac and a example of why we neer to stop killing ourselves. And human compassion is all of a sudden a reason to care about another rapper who endorsed violence being killed by violence. This is the shyt I was talkimg about. A nikka becomes a hood legend overnight because he died on some hood shyt. He was not a leader be didn't preach upliftment. He wasnt offering the world any thing new. But because he had a hit single in the day of social dikk riders he becomes a martyr.
