Oh I thought it was the liberals like Franken who were the women protectors...not violators.

Looks like neither side has the moral high ground.
No, not quite.

When someone on the left is accused of sexual misconduct, he owns up to it, apologizes, and calls for an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile his constituents on the left still call en masse for him to step down.

When someone on the right is accused, he denies it, makes up terrible lies and every excuse in the book, and threatens to sue the accusers. Meanwhile his constituents on the right organize harrassment campaigns to terrorize the victims, tell pollsters they're more likely to support the attacker in an election, and move to turn the entire issue into a political game.

Come the fukk on. There's serious issues with rape and harassment out here. She's making a mockery of those with this performance.

What he did was unacceptable, period. Yes, it's a matter of degrees, but, it's not an either/or thing. Yes, the women is a conservative, extremist, and likely, not someone I would have any respect for, which makes it all the more complicated, in all the ways life can be. That behavior simply isn't ok, and should not be tolerated, condoned, excused, or pardoned. Here's the thing for me, that picture isn't funny. It's only funny in the way the whole culture disrespects, degrades, and abuses women. Her conservatism had nothing to do with how she was treated. It was all about her being a women, 1, and a women who rejected him, 2.

He can throw whatever 2020 aspirations he might've had in the bushes, but if no other accusers come forward I think he'll be able to weather the storm without handing in his resignation. Congress knows the floodgates have opened in Washington so I doubt they'll draw a hard line with this when there's probably far worse allegations from both parties on the horizon.

If at the end of the day, all these charges and allegations lead to fundamental change and better vetting of political candidates then we can all be better for it.

But let’s be real here. Ppl making this a political conversation at the expense of the victims truly disgusts me. And I’m looking at everyone in here, more importantly to ppl like trump and others that are using this as some sort of “win” for “their” side.

We need to stop using these situations as points on a scoreboard, and all just come together against ALL the bullshyt like sexual assault/harassment, corruption, etc.

Every time someone chooses a side in these matters based on their political affiliations and not what is just or right, we keep taking steps backward.

Wow....what a lame response.

You can't condemn something you've been doing for years and only apologize once you get found out.

And as a woman, is that it??? That's all y'all want is for men to start saying sorry?

This is the silliest thing I've witnessed in a while...

Oh stop...basically NO ONE would be able to run for political based on these allegations.

Some of this stuff being complained about is harmless and isn't really harassment.

I'm woman I've been actually harassed.

This witch hunt shyt has got to stop on both sides.

Even Trump's p*ssy comment wasn't harassment.
