People's Aaliyah fetish is gross.

Yes, it's her birthday; but, you'd think he liberated a nation of peasants the way people talk about her.

No shots, but, she's just pretty to you.
It's not her birthday. Today is the anniversary of her death.

Yeah that was a good article, I believe the Uncle claimed on twitter not too long ago that Aaliyah's music will be on Spotify and Apple soon.

He need to release that shyt

I don't wanna listen to that first album

He ain't gonna release

Dude sounds like a psycho

The Uncle dropped the ball with Aaliyah after she died. AAliyAh sung about relatable subjects like; dancing, partying, relationships, love, and heartbreak... meaning her music was accessible, and appropriate.

She was A teen star, A black woman , Beautiful, innovative, had A WHOOOOLLE LottA SWAG, and was fashion forward.
Meaning; she had the potential to reach a shyt load of markets. I'm Talking lipstick line, clothing line, shoe line, hair product line, dolls...AaliyAh was working on a cartoon before she died... all in all, that's an easy 9 figures.

granted the uncle wanted AAliyAh to rest in piece, and not exploit his dead niece, cool... but still, he ain't attempt to keep her legacy alive at all.

it's a shame how AAliyAh's music is hard to get. You can't even stream an Aaliyah's greatest hit compilation.
Which is very disrespectful since she died filming A MUSIC VIDEO . The least her uncle could of done was keep her music accessible. A remastered AaliyAh discography is much needed.

Jay Z can still buy AAliyAh's catalog Remaster it, and put it on Tidal.I need to have Loose Raps bumping on Hifi...

Her vibe > her music (great catalog fwiw) > her physical :yeshrug:

And I think this is weird for a 22 y.o. who died almost 20 yrs ago

Mind you; seeing a young woman call Tupac her "bae" on the gram is hella weird, too

It's not her birthday. Today is the anniversary of her death.

My bad, but, my point stands.

says a guy who calls himself after Eazy E
1. False Equivolcy

2. It's a play on something related to Hip-Hop than also relates to me aka how ppl in 2007 picked usernames to Rap forums

Wasn't the Pilot under investigation as well? Anyways Aaliyah wasn't Beyonce but she did well for her era (pre social media). She really blossomed when she left R Kelly etc.. That summer her songs were everywhere. If she was alive probably did more movies, music and maybe went into TV.Way her personality was she would have a big social media following, she would still be famous. Her death was a big story until 9/11 two weeks later.RIP Aaliyah

The eeriest celebrity death IMO. A absolute shock. She was connected to all the hottest people in the industry at that time

I'm going to get negged because this is not the sheep/popular opinion to have....

Aaliyah was overrated and really would not have been like what a Beyonce is or even Ciara.
Her death is what made her a legend.
