the pass rush on this team really disappeared. Hopefully we play yall before Aldon smith comes back

There is zero pass rush, it's sad.

And they even tried to get it in the 2nd half by sending heavy blitzes, which didn't bring much pressure at all and a lot of times were picked apart by dumpoff passes.

Aldon has a 9 game suspension, first game back is vs. NYG, the one i`ll be going too. Hope we're still treading water by then

i didn't watch or see the headbutt but if you don't score for an entire half than i wouldn't say he fukked ya'll over

20-14, 3rd a about 5-6 from the 11 yard line, we complete the pass to Q for a 1st down on the 5 yard line. He headbutts someone, and it goes from being 1st and goal on the 5, to 1st and goal on the 20, get another penalty and it ends up being 3rd and goal from the 35 yard line.

We have to go for a FG that ends up getting blocked.

Q took at least 3pts off the board and possibly 7 that would have put us ahead in the 4th

The Yay
pff grade for kaep for the game:

Colin Kaepernick, QB: -2.0

Breakdown: Maybe a case where the stats don’t quite line up with the grade; outside of three throwaways and a drop, Kaepernick missed on just four of his 34 pass attempts. However, one of those incompletions probably should have gone for a pick-six but was dropped by Antonio Cromartie (3Q, 12:18), while his 29 completions travelled less than five yards beyond the line of scrimmage on average.

Signature Play: 4Q, 4:14. Badly missed an open Brandon Lloyd on 3rd-and-19 late in the game down six. The 49ers punted on the next play and didn’t get the ball back until 23 seconds left in the game, down nine.

If a team has 14 and 15 play drives how can kap do anything about that? I understand that we didnt score in the second half but the defense did worse than kap. And our o.c. ran Frank Gore a whopping 6 times all game. This was a failure from several angles but kap played a damn good game along with being our leading rusher as well.
By keeping the ball. Had the offense managed to sustain their own drives that's less time Arizona would have had to go on those long ass drives and more time for your D to rest.
When you are going 5 plays punt, 3andout, 4 plays punt on every drive, it puts added pressure and stress on your D and gives the opposing offense more possessions.

I agree the defense is more at fault than Kap, but come on now..

Even if we could sustain a drive, the d can't let the cards have 10 minute drives. That also effects the o by not allowing them to get in sync too. We definitely should have been more productive offensively but that's just ridiculous to let the cards carve you up with Drew "struggletouch" Stanton

If you could sustain your drives, they wouldn't have had the TIME or the opportunity to go on 3-4 15 minute drives. Only so much time in a half.
Even the best Defenses get tired when they are always on the field because their offense can't stay on it.
