Let me be clear. I ain't comin in her judgin nyggaz who smoke. Its your life and u can do whatever the hell u want. But just on my observation, I have seen cats I know struggle like crackheads to stop smokin. I'm not comparin weed to crack, I'm just comparin the addictions themselves.

I know dudes that have to smoke to do everything. They wake up, smoke. Before school, smoke. Lunchbreak at work, smoke. They gotta go to the mall, they gotta blaze before they go to mall. Go to the hospital to visit a sick relative, they gotta smoke. When they don't have weed to smoke, I've seen nyggaz get irratable, figity and mad because they can't smoke. It seems like they have a chemical dependence for weed.

I know cats that have lost their jobs or couldn't get good jobs because they have had dirty piss. But they still couldnt/wouldn't stop smokin

All this shyt is true and anybody disagreeing with it is in denial. Period.

And for those of you saying weed isn't addictive, refute this:

i like how the study qualified it's definition of addiction as people have difficulty controlling their drug use instead of defining it as something that causes dependence.

still according to this study there is a 91% chance you wont get addicted and even then you wont be dependent (ie suffer from withdraw). so many peoples friends on this site are defying the odds.

i just said your study was unreliable at best and confirmed my point at the same time. They used a definition of addiction the doesn't include dependence just the inability to manage the habit. meaning that weed doesnt make you an addict

also they said that under their definition only 9% would become addicted which is less than the rate people get addicted a particular tv show. not watching tv in general but a specific show.

basically that study is either meaningless or proves my point.

I said that earlier, it's a habit but if you're at a point in life where you're smoking to function, then that's probably addiction.

Like SuburbanPimp smokes at home after his day...that's a habit. But when you're smoking before work, knowing that you can get fired if you got caught and that you NEED that damn job, you're pretty much addicted. When it starts to trump logic, it's an addiction.

But its all about moderation, knowing how weed affects you, and what you can/can't accomplish when you're high. You don't have to go cold turkey if you can maintain some self control (

I'm not your boy. I've been doing this for years, I didn't just start. And I started off on loud so I can handle myself. If your boy let the weed come between him and staying in shape then that's on him. He should have never let it get to that point, that's when the weed is taking over.
