If her being a liar is an issue and you now believe her to be a liar why are you still communicating with her? So you still wanna engage with a liar right? So that means the lie really didn't make a difference. So you just called her a liar for the hell of which goes back to my original point. You're priority was to make sure to call her out.
I wouldn't slide in a dudes DM period. I don't really consider it a lie but more of an ice breaker. If I were her your eagerness to call her out but still engage would tell me that you were nit picky, petty and somewhat dramatic.
