Wash cloths?

I just rub the soap bar directly all over my body. Lather myself up and rinse off. Whats the point of transferring the soap to the wash cloth?

Thats like taking a garden hose to water plants but instead of just spraying the plants directly with the water from the hose, you fill up a bucket of water and then dump the bucket of water over the plants. Its an unnecessary step.

And yes, I use my own bar of soap. Sharing bars of soap is gross.

I never understood this. If you're using a towel on your face, wash your face first then wash your body.

The only way this would make sense is if you are using the same towel more than once which is disgusting no matter how you do it.
