Man had to tell this girl i been talking too off today. She had called me a retard in a sentence then i took immediate offense to that and told her that it wasn't cool. She was like ahh i didn't even mean it that way, I call everyone that yea bytch whatever. Now she saying I'm acting extra sensitive and that it hurt my feelings. Pretty much, it was just a joke. A lot of advice that has been given here is great, but some of it might be too old school. Posting in a men only thread some of us might forget that women are human beings too, if you and your S/O can't tease each other without catching feelings then you don't have a great relationship. Even if a girl calls you an idiot/retard jokingly, she will show you she respects you through her actions

I disagree. We're all human, I agree, which means that we have the capacity to control what comes out of our mouth. There's plenty of ways to joke and interact with each other without getting slick. That's like me chilling with a woman and be like, "You're so crazy, lil ho." Most women will flip out of you 'calling them out of their name' even if they might fit that definition. If you are with a woman that lets that slide, you're going to get the impression that she doesn't respect herself and most men will escalate that behavior.

You let a broad call you all kinds of retards, stupids and idiots and that shows she's a little too comfortable around you to come out her mouth like that or she's around a lot of guys that let that slide. If you don't check her on that kind of language coming out her mouth towards you, she ain't ever going to accord you the respect you deserve.

You getting the wrong feeling then. Ain't nothing old about the lingo I use, nor my dressing style. I'm not 'new school' with those elements either, because I'm not going to be out here screaming swag with some spandex jeans on and a mohawk on my head. I keep it classic.

What I do keep old school is my music and this knowledge I possess. This 'new school' knowledge is why everything is so screwed up now. You can't deviate from the rules of success in any endeavor and expect things to work out and the best source to get that knowledge from is from cats who've been there and done that. I DO love listening to these older school cats and soaking up knowledge and applying it into the context of my own situation. The only word I might change when kicking it in real life is suckers to "I'm not like them other cats" or "I'm not like them other dudes."

The 'retard' thing is too much based on who said it, and context, I can't unequivocally say it's cool or not cool, either way. I joke around a lot in conversation, with my friends, women, but if I told some comic self deprecating story, and part of some women's reaction was 'omg you're retarded', I say similar shyt all the time, i couldn't be mad. But, someone whos not really close to me, saying something like 'hey retard hold my phone' or something, wouldn't feel ok.

It leads to a lot of the same reactions we've been having in this thread lol... like man these women can be cold. It's why you don't ever put too much emphasis on them and always have other activities going on. When a woman has a man, best to leave that alone completely. For one, how can she be loyal to you if she's doing that to her man? Two, that's a whole bunch of drama waiting to happen. Three, there's too many single women out there to deal with a woman with a man. Ultimately, you will have to accept that loss and keep it pushing.

real talk, that's why i tell cats never to mess up what another man has... just because that feeling that you're having now. When you start digging on a woman, start feeling connected to her and find out she wasn't what you thought, that emotional pain can be neck and neck with any physical pain you will experience. All you can do now bruh is be thankful that you found out early before you really got involved and just make a concerted effort not to allow this particular scandalous woman to steal your joy. There are a lot more and better women to be had as well as the rest of the weekend to be enjoyed.
