I have found the chicks that I dealt with that were heavy in the psychiatry, psychology, counseling, therapy, and sociology fields - bring that type of training to their dating lives and relationships.
Much like female lawyers, the education and professional experience sort of take over their personalities. And that often interferes with the man to woman/woman to man vibe.
