Just don't put stock into women and you won't be affected. I keep saying disappointments come from expectations.

The average human male or female is greedy and selfish and will put their desires above all. If someone can find a job paying more regardless of what their job has did/doing for them they are going to take it, just as if someone thinks they can do better than you majority will take that opportunity.

I don't know if stoicism is for everyone but it if helps alleviates anxiety from the eventual disappointments of interacting with women in a romantic sense, sure.
