I think very deeply
We haven't spoken on other stuff in this thread for a while, so I'm going to highlight something: Look after your health.
I was just watching the interview with Officer Vlad and BG Knockout when they were discussing the death of John Singleton and how he died so young at 51. Vlad mentioned an example he heard that if you were given a really nice car but it was the only one you could ever own for the rest of your life, then you'd be taking super care of it everyday. Likewise, your physical body is way more valuable.
Black men especially need to take care of themselves. I had a thorough private healthcheck that I paid for the other week and received the results by email on Friday. My health overall is good, but my metabolism could do with some work. I'm gonna intensify my workout regime and improve on what I'm already doing and start doing more walking and start juicing more fruits and raw vegetables.
Sickness is a reality, but a lot of deaths are preventable. I've seen brothas have health issues they shouldn't be suffering from when they haven't even reached 40 yet. EVERYBODY has the time to do some exercise unless they're bedridden 24/7. It's also good for your mental health which is another thing that many black men tend to neglect.
Spend the money on herbal, organic supplements and/or anything else you need for your health. If you can afford that 65 inch OLED flat screen TV you got the money to look after yourself.
EDIT: I'm still waiting for this, but I ordered this Ultra Push system thing for upper body workouts:
The Ultra Push (9-in-1 System)
Ideal addition to your regular gym workouts when you're at home listening to music.
