Although democrats to earn their vote, poor democrat performance will not sway the Republicans far right,evangelicals or trump supporters to move forward for reparations or black agenda issues.they will not be on the senate floor passing bill in favor of us.
Don't forget if congress has more Republicans in next election , democrats will have a long long tough hill to climb let alone the president
Other issues, In fact even the stimulus and unemployment extension or pandemic employment both parties fought each other over how much to give especially the fiscal conservative Republicans. Heck , buy not voting depending on the dominant party they can raise taxes cut food stamps etc...
Presidents and their party have supreme court judges to align with their goals. Imagine someone brining their court case to the supreme court and they all conservative judges...
Reparations or laws pass in the government to make things happen but never just reparations, many long term damage even social security can be compromised, funding for police whether for or against that is based on political decisiona many tax dollars, insurance, universal healthcare,social services can be dictated and affected by the ruling party.
Colin Powell a black Republican even he said he never witness such political divide or polarization when Obama was president to make things rough for him.
Be careful bro lots of youtube political gurus will say don't vote but complain only to political deaf ears and nothing get accomplished then wonder why x,y,z is happening and nothing they can do about it.
