Strangely enough, my left foot is flat-footed and my right foot is regular

Didn't think about doing this.Jumping rope really helps? :ohhh:
Absolutely. You can’t jump rope flat footed. I also would walk up and down the stairs on my toes. If you practicing at anything, it’ll become regular.

No Whammies!!
I can only speak for myself (don't want to give bad advice and mess up anyone's feet), but I had flat feet. About 8 years ago I started going in the opposite direction from orthotics:
I started wearing nothing but "minimalist" style shoes all day every day, for walking, running, hiking, everything. (Except for my Merrell Moabs that I wear in the snow.) Back then I started off with wearing "driving" mocassins to work, then over time I moved on to shoes like Vivobarefoot. When I run I usually wear Merrell Vapor Gloves now. Last year I ran a 10 mile race in:
Merrell | Vapor Glove 4 3D Shoe | Nordstrom Rack

8 years later, my feet aren't even flat anymore.

I used to wear specially made insoles when I was younger now I just don’t let flat feet bother me.

I’ve just accepted it is what it is.

the simple cost effective answers are in this thread.
