The actress is hot. Legs for days.:shaq:

I have to give credit to South Africa. They can produce high quality tv shows and movies.

Unlike Nigeria. Could you imagine if Nollywood produced a spy series (hell, just a basic action series)!? :russ::troll::trash:
The struggle acting.
The struggle sets.
The same 'Jesus Loves You, oh' track repeated over and over again.
The Naija Pidgin English.

I watched a couple of Nigerian movies at this festival they have every year over here, there was nothing "struggle" about them tbh. All Nigerian movies aren't Nollywood-type movies.

Just finished the series, overall I thought it was alright. For 6 episodes there is a lot going on, with Queen Solo dealing with her family history, friend dynamics, her work as an agent, etc with some aspects working better than others.

Pros:

Pearl Thusi is :noah:as Queen Sono. She plays a badass/reckless agent well.

I liked the Shandu character as well and how his story develops.
The setting is something you don't normally see or the deep dives into the multiple of ways Africa is exploited from foreigners and corrupt politicians.

Mia is :takedat: as well.

The action is okay, but nothing ever really jumped out at me as being really impressive. Could be budget issues

Cons:

Some of the writing/pacing is off and doesn't really flow that well :francis:. Acting is okay in spots, but :ld: in others.
Character development could have been tighter, so some moments that come throughout the season hit harder.

I wouldn't call the show a must watch, but I'm always for different voices/people getting a spotlight and it has potential to improve if it goes forward.

Just finished the season. Was a fun little story that had promise but could of been executed better. They were trying to set to many characters. Was well worth it for all the ass and titty shots:shaq:

I finished this a month ago. This show was good. It had some flaws but it was an enjoyable watch and better thna expected. I had to give it a 10 score on IMDB just off gp because some people reviewing it ( a lot of them cacs) are just being petty...saying shyt how it has a lot of profanity in it :dahell: Every Netflix series has profanity some way more than this, but anything that shows black people in some form of power and beauty where cacs are not at the forefront is a threat.

I hope they make a series 2. That cac villain chick has to go, no way they let it end like that.
