What a year for backup QBs and 3rd stringers. I wonder if teams start to re-evaluate how they evaluate the position.

If it's truly the most important position in sports there's really no excuse for most teams not taking it seriously. I get that there are literally only a few dozen people on the planet who can start an NFL game at QB but these teams spend way too much money on coaching/development/facilities/tape/etc not to have a guy developing at a decent level, all the time. Philly really been been the blueprint for this IMO, and the Packers. Draft a guy, develop him for years, and if he becomes your starter great. If he becomes your backup great. And if he becomes a trade piece you can move for a 3rd round pick, great.
