it really is. it's not a classic or anything, but outside of oochie wallie(which was more raunchy than poppy) it was a really grimy street album.
in hindsight, this album was just brewing things up and definitely carved a piece on nasir's legacy especially towards the end of 2001..

I think all these range from good to great. besides the oochie, the intro, cnn and nature tracks were kind of hurtin. straight outta qb was kinda wack too. live this, die for, and break bread were cool.

Listened to Nastradamus last night, listened to this on the way to work this morning. It's very clear this project was a strong bridge to Stillmatic for Nas. Very impt album, more focused lyrics, stronger voice, better flows...I can look in hindsight and say I should've known Nas was all the way back after this

I think the OG was the best (CLUE! CLUE! CLUE!!! CLUE!! HA! HA!) But I understand the strategy behind doing a new verse for what became the album version.

On the flip, I like the OG version of Nature's Fire with the little jab, which should've been the one on the album, since that's the route they went with.
