I fw Knuckleheads heavy bc of the guests & the players the guests name drop is ppl I used to read about in Slam..you don’t hear about Frank Williams,Esteban Weaver,Kareem Reid etc on other basketball podsRoad Trippin (Channing Frye/Richard Jefferson) was the first NBA player pod I can recall from the past 6-7 yrs or so, plus them being active players was unique too. But Knuckleheads really kickstarted the trend and is still entertaining to listen to, mainly because of them interviewing more than star players
My exact thought. I started following high school ball around 94/95 when KG came to Chicago. Then year after year I learned about hoopers outside of Illinois from Slam and eventually online forums. All their guest, whether a big name or not, were exceptionally talented.I fw Knuckleheads heavy bc of the guests & the players the guests name drop is ppl I used to read about in Slam..you don’t hear about Frank Williams,Esteban Weaver,Kareem Reid etc on other basketball pods
I always liked his game and his J’s, but never knew his upbringing and story tho. That’s movie worthy right thereHis story is wild, hella impressive to come from where he did and make the league
I'm listening now. Crazy story. Talk about getting it out the mud.His story is wild, hella impressive to come from where he did and make the league
