Why are they still doing their podcast in person though?? :dead:

Even though they're low risk and I'm sure are taking precautions but I find it funny.
I think these was recorded during allstar weekend. If it wasn't they probably would've mentioned the season being suspended.

Honestly this podcast is better than all the smoke. It’s just Barnes and jack has a bigger social media presence.

They've got the bigger social media presence, more notable guests (and current NBA players) and a bigger platform with Showtime. But I find Knuckleheads to be a tad more insightful about the guests NBA experiences and their grind to get/stay in the league

Even though these four nikkas can't formulate a question for shyt. Journalism 101: NEVER start a question with "Talk about..."

Plus they repeat the same shyt ever episode. We know Matt is a dad, we know Jack is a real one and cut from a different cloth. Q and D Miles gotta retire some of their recurring questions too. Aite rant over lmao

But all in all there's enough space in this podcast game for both to have great shows and they're killing. I haven't skipped an episode of Knuckleheads or All The Smoke

There is merit to all this, but they both still have more interesting and entertaining interviews than most, if not all "journalist" these days when talking to these athletes, so in the end they accomplish their goal. True journalism hardly exist today anyway, with the era of hot takes, click bait, and branding focus to get famous. These guys don't have to chase that and as a result we get genuine interactions and a legit peak into players lives and stories, which in the end is all fans are interested in anyway.

They all can get better, but we don't want these guys to get too "journalism" polished, because then it'll be just like any other cookie cutter interview full of boring cliches and homogenized interactions.
