I don't really care about Navalny one way or another. But the bottom line is, if he was most left leaning progressive person around, he would meet the same fate in Russia because it's a authoritarian shyt hole. Which wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have right wing shyt heads in this country who are allied with Putin ideologically and helping making this style of governance the norm across the world.
It's simply a reminder that it's absolutely goofy to see folks like Tucker Carlson suck this fakkit off and talk about how awful it is in the west compared to Russia of all places while if you question the dear leader in Russia you are murdered, regardless of your political leanings. Still there are some people who want to bring that bullshyt way of life here.

I'm learning more about Navalny and I don't know all the facts but it seems like both he and Putin are pieces of shyt and it just so happens that Putin is a dictator which most of us should be opposed to anyway

I was listening to a program this morning in which a friend and political adversary said Navalny had changed his views over the years. I don’t know how true that is, since I never learned about his platform. The white nationalist stuff was a surprise to learn about.

Navalny organized and marched with actual Neo-Nazis. You can't just "bu bu bu but Trump" this away. The only thing bringing up Trump does is make one realize they are two fascists in a pod with a split opinion on Vladamir Putin. The left will call everyone up and down their timeline a Nazi for not supporting trans bathrooms or some BS but then willingly embrace this man, who once again, organized and marched with actual Neo-Nazis.
He was a CIA plant and a literal Nazi. He was also not that popular a candidate in Russia by the way.
