Yeah..... Its been rumored the D League team coach go fired because Thanasis showed no improvements whatsoever since he got drafted

:francis:

If Phil is smart he'll probably wait and see what decent player gets waived before the deadline.... It happens every year.

I assume you're talking about thanasis and not Giannis the GAWD.

I don't think he's trash, I think he has two unique and usable skills.... he's wildly athletic, and disruptive on defense... I just think he really needs game refinement. He's not going to get that on the Knicks right now, and did not get it in Westchester.

Sucks, he's a good developmental candidate... a shame we can't find a way to use somebody like that.

It would be dope if there's an overseas prospect they're interested in... the bit lithuanian could be useful, but for whatever reason, we don't wanna give him a full shot yet.

Going off pre-season, I don't think KP and Calderon should start. Calderon would obvious reasons and Porzingis just isn't ready and our starting five is too slow with him on the court. I would rather have Early play SF and move Melo to PF. Get some speed on the perimeter and speed up transition offense.

Derrick Williams can lead the second unit the way he did during the pre-season. Only play O'Quinn at Center because he's better guarding around the rim and not near the 3pt line.
nah we need KP's shot blocking :yeshrug:

besides he need to learn to be the 2nd option next to melo anyway :francis:

That starting unit honestly has looked bad and our second unit has gotten us back into nearly every game. Cle really really reaaaally needs to only shoot threes on the opposite ends not top of the key. He needs to be more confident in driving into the lane and taking players off the dribble. Also, his defense is great. I don't know what we'll do for our starters are what they are besides Melo everyone looks slow as shyt. 6gawd can be lethal within 15feet though and them off the dribble and post up shots?!:wow::mjcry::blessed:

I disagree that the team is too slow with Porzingis on the floor. He's still pretty quick for a big man

Start Galloway, he'd help the first unit a ton

I think so too. His range looks legit, so spacing isn't an issue and he's more willing to drive and kick than either starter. He's our best defender, so pairing him with our worst perimeter defender might help placate dude's wackness. I also think Afflalo could really eat well off of Grant's North/South style and he's better at creating his own shot than anyone else we could put out there (D-Will is good but he's better catching and popping or getting a straight line drive to the rack).
