Breen and Clyde with the brainwashing trying to downplay NY's defense saying it "means nothing" when you're putting your opponent on the free throw line. He doesn't say that about Goldenstate who is 5th in opponent fta's and OKC who is 3rd. It wouldn't matter if all their opponents points are at the line if they're giving up less than 98 ppg (good for 9th place). The difference between NY and teams like Goldenstate and OKC is NY can't score.

If you're talking about 'Melo, you're lying. So much for you "supporting him because he's a Knick". 'Melo is solid defensively, a great rebounder (especially on the offensive glass), leads his team in assists, and draws all the attention from the opposing team, thereby giving all his teammates open looks and room to operate.

What I don't like is he seems to be sacrificing his brand because the franchise wants KP to be the show. Alan Hahn gon' lie and say that Arron "isn't that much of an offensive threat" and the game was lost when KP sat. That is such nonsense. KP was out there for 2 and a half quarters straight and did nothing whlie he was out there. Meanwhile, the bench turned up when he sat. Arron is a 45% shooter. KP is barely a 40% shooter and he wasn't even that until Arron came back and drew even more attention away from KP, thereby giving him even more space to roam than he had when it was just 'Melo out there. The franchise has been downplaying 'Melo's performances and overrating KP's. All the marketing is around him.

I've seen this inexplicable benching of Arron and 'Melo being inexplicably passive. They also clearly told 'Melo to start the game trying to get KP going, rather than starting it trying to get himself going. If they could, they'd run the whole offense through KP, even though he's faaaaaaaar from ready. NY needs to run the offense through 'Melo and Arron and win games. I don't support this trying to force KP and they won't win that way. They're doing that because he's a Euro.

No, he wasn't. 'Melo guarded Winslow for 99.9% of the game because Winslow was supposed to be a"'Melo stopper". Winslow played 34 mins. Green only played 26. It's similar to how Lj and 'Melo both start but Lj is too soft to guard 'Melo in quarters 1-3. For some unknown reason, Gallo was guarding Green for much of the night and most of his buckets (if not all of them) were scored on Gallo. So, miss me with your hostile anti-'Melo propaganda.
