He's a perfect fit for our needs. Speedy, 3&D SG who has been through it in the playoffs with multiple teams. He's a hardnosed physical defender and should be a pretty effective catch and shoot guy he has a career 38.5% 3PT.

I like the Courney signing. Needed the defense at the 2 for sure. Him and Rose should be able to push the tempo a bit.

And scoring in the starting lineup isn't the major concern when you're looking for a 2 when Rose, Melo, and Kristaps exist. Dude is a good defender and a respectable shooter who will shoot his highest clip ever with the open looks he'll get. When it came to the SG market, this was the only logical dude.

Concern for me is the bench now ( especially wit injury history of the starters )
Would have liked to see someone like j Crawford ..affalo Or lance come off the bench
Don't know how we survive this season wit no depth
Outside of that Phil has done well ..but that bench lookin
