Oh my God, if I were 18 still I'd TEAR UP. DEAD ASS. NO SHAME.

I love it.

Only 2 things could fukk this up...

1- Injuries

2- Melo's demeanor and attitude about this.

:lupe:

I think both are not going to be an issue.

Basketball gods... :lawd:

Please...:ohlawd:

We've waited so long...:whew:

And we won't be a contender....:whoa:

But make the Garden rock again...:damn:

Let's get this shyt! :banderas:
If we get whiteside and a bench I like our chances against anyone in the east. Obviously Bron will be the favorite but watch out if Melo and Paul George get a real cast around them.

What a stupid ass trade though from the Bulls. Didnt even get a future first rounder :mjlol:

Rose played well last year, especially coming off those injuries. We get him refreshed. Not off any injuries and pretty much a whole season under his belt. :dahell:
They still suck Lopez is a complimentary player. You acquire him AFTER the core is set. :stopitslime:

You have to understand the position the Bulls were in. You werent there for all the injury years. If he had a great season this year, they would never be comfortable giving him the max contract he will be seeking with the threat of injury looming. His injuries held the team hostage for several years, it's not a risk they could take long term again. It sucks, but I get it.
Trading him wasn't a mistake the mistake was not getting expiring for him or picks.

Sorry for the misunderstanding...

But let me clarify my position...

I have never been, nor never will be a Melo hater.

I've defended him, justly, throughout his entire career in NY.

I think Melo will most likely be ecstatic about this move.

I was just saying that it's one of the only 2 things that could make this rocky.

And i don't think either one will happen.

Respect.

Edit: upon 2nd look... I also stated that I don't think eitger would happen on my original post. Why'd you fox news splice my post, breh?:russ:
My fault...I'm at happy hour...I seent melo slander and I spazzed

It's all good my knicka

Reports are other teams wanted us to include a pick with him ... trade market wasn't hot breh

You gotta look at it this way. Let's say Sacramento trades for him. He's probably not staying in Sacramento next year if he plays well. NY is the kind of market/team that would feel confident in retaining him long term. Teams like Sacramento, Orlando... etc, he's just a straight up rental cause he would bounce the fukk outta there for a bigger stage next summer, so they ain't gonna part with any assets.

Lopez is a quality starting center. Bulls can probably get a first round pick for him during next season's trade deadline if another team really needs. Grant gives the Bulls a younger athletic point guard that was completely miscast in New York, because of the friggin triangle and lack of playing time with KP. Potential starter if he develops a jumper. Bulls got a decent haul for Rose.

I didn't say they were dumb for moving him. Just what they got in return is all.
