Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I was thinking he bulks up and Melo goes back to 4. He has potential to be a very good defender and I think he takes wayyyy too many jump shots
I still feel like Lopez is better suited off the bench if we serious bout winning

I think eventually he ends up a C, and is sort of a Pau Gasol hybrid that can shoot the three when it's there.

But, they have to take their time with the weight, too much too soon and he loses his mobility or worse, he gets hurt from imbalances in how he puts on the muscle.

I tuned in during the fourth quarter ( after I saw three quarters of that Warriors massacre:huldup) and it was nice seeing the offense run through KP more. If there's one thing I like about what Rambis is doing, it's getting KP to play closer to the rim. He's so hard to guard he ends drawing a lot of fouls, so even on an off shooting night, it still ends up being pretty efficient with all of his trips to the line. He made a couple of nice cuts off of the ball too. It sucks to see him struggle to finish with contact though, which is probably the only negative to what I saw, he really needs to get stronger this off season.

What do yall think of putting kp at center more next year ?
I've warmed up to the idea of putting KP at C full time over the season, so I wouldn't mind if he gets strong enough. Plus you got the option of either using Lopez to bolster the bench, or trading him to help plug up some other hole on the team ( he's one of the few positive assets on the team).

Once KP gets stronger and Rambis leaves this org its just a matter of time
A matter of time of what exactly ? Last year was the tank season. This year bad coaching. Next year they going to be in last place not making the playoffs again because Carmelo will be tired and hurt. The excuses made for this team is disgusting .

Thoughts:
. This was actually a pretty good competitive game all the way through against a tough opponent. I enjoyed watching, which hasn't been the case most nights the past month.

. Gotta say, I love the way KP played and I think even though Grant's numbers don't show it, he played really well. I was hoping Rambis would go back to him in the fourth but unfortunately...Rambis.

. Calderon did more dribbling inside the three point line which produced more assists but he shot like crap and defended like a fool. I wanted to punch dude when he made a huge scene over a foul call that he picked up because he let his man get by him.

. D-Will is being a lot more aggressive which is nice. Flat out I prefer him coming in for KP over Lance, always have so it may be bias but I think the starters open things up for him where he can be a real pain to a defense.

. Yesterday one of Phil's comments was basically telling Rambis that he needs to stop playing Melo for 40 minutes a game (literally mentioned 40 minutes a game) and Rambis played dude 43. lmao

. Galloway's jumper...wtf happened!?

. RoLo...13 and 9 on 58% since New Year's; 14 and 10 on 62% since February; Contract is a complete steal relative to the cap increases and even without them it's a good one. He played really well last night against an extremely tough match-up. He's valuable on the roster or as a trade chip.

. KP's third was beginning of the year level. His fourth was the tired legs case imo (same with Melo).

. Grant/Calderon tandem was out there a bit and I liked the way the team ran the offense with them both out there. Jose's value as an off guard is better (not good or anything, just better than what we get by relying on him as the primary ball handler).

What about KP as a hybrid of Pau Gasol/Ralph Sampson?? :wow:

Yeah there is no quick fix here. Even if they overpay for Conley who's the best player they possibly could get in the offseason that doesn't make them anything close to contenders. That's why trading melo if he agrees to it is the best thing for this organization. You aren't gonna contend while he's anywhere near his prime might as well try to get something for him
