Thoughts:
. This was actually a pretty good competitive game all the way through against a tough opponent. I enjoyed watching, which hasn't been the case most nights the past month.
. Gotta say, I love the way KP played and I think even though Grant's numbers don't show it, he played really well. I was hoping Rambis would go back to him in the fourth but unfortunately...Rambis.
. Calderon did more dribbling inside the three point line which produced more assists but he shot like crap and defended like a fool. I wanted to punch dude when he made a huge scene over a foul call that he picked up because he let his man get by him.
. D-Will is being a lot more aggressive which is nice. Flat out I prefer him coming in for KP over Lance, always have so it may be bias but I think the starters open things up for him where he can be a real pain to a defense.
. Yesterday one of Phil's comments was basically telling Rambis that he needs to stop playing Melo for 40 minutes a game (literally mentioned 40 minutes a game) and Rambis played dude 43. lmao
. Galloway's jumper...wtf happened!?
. RoLo...13 and 9 on 58% since New Year's; 14 and 10 on 62% since February; Contract is a complete steal relative to the cap increases and even without them it's a good one. He played really well last night against an extremely tough match-up. He's valuable on the roster or as a trade chip.
. KP's third was beginning of the year level. His fourth was the tired legs case imo (same with Melo).
. Grant/Calderon tandem was out there a bit and I liked the way the team ran the offense with them both out there. Jose's value as an off guard is better (not good or anything, just better than what we get by relying on him as the primary ball handler).
