It's a weird phenomenon. I told you, that there are Heat/Knicks, Heat/Nets hybrid fans out there. Some down in Florida, some in NYC. It's a weird sub-group of fans that REALLY exist. New Yorkers who root for the Heat. It's real...

Everyone talks about Knicks fans taking over AAA down in Miami, but Knicks fans aren't as deep in Miami as they once were. It's been trending reversely. Heat fans take over Barclays, and the Heat crowd grows year after year in MSG. It's weird....man

Yeah, I know Floridians who moved to NYC and root for the Heat. Then I know native NY'ers who jumped on the Miami bandwagon when LBJ came, and they decided to stay with Miami when LBJ left. There's still alot of LBJ era bandwagon Heat fans all across the country who decided to stay with Miami even after he left. MSG is the latest arena to be a victim of "Let's go Heat" chants, but other arenas have had Heat fans take over on the regular. Staples when the Clippers play, Barclays, and Philipps Arena in Atlanta all attract scores of Heat fans. Especially Barclays..... Brooklyn is basically American Airlines Arena North. Barclays is pretty much a home game for Miami.

Yep I got like 4-5 high school/college friends that moved up to NY from Miami.

Just look in the heat thread and you'll see several NY dudes in there with NO connection to the city of Miami . It's a fukking disgrace.
