I won't lie, I didn't see this beatdown coming. Arron is largely to blame for his trash defense on Klay. If Klay had 19 less points, the game would be tied. If Curry can be held to 13 points then Klay can certainly be held to 15. If Gallo can play defense, so can Arron. There's no excuse for letting someone drop 34 efficient points on your head.
I don't blame Arron for his offense because Klay is a forward who plays the guard position. He's 6'7'', which is bigger than Arron, and he is a great defender when he wants to be and while his defense has been trash this season, it wasn't trash last night.
Whoever was matched up with Draymond for most of the night (it wasn't KP because he was in foul trouble) is also to blame for letting him go off for 20. Yes, Draymond scored a lot on KP, but that was a mismatch because Draymond is only 6'7''.
