I just seen the last shot at a bar. Not a bad shot. We pushed the Spurs to the limit on their home court & finished the road trip 2-1. Pretty solid trip if I say so.

That was Galloway's fault. he should have given up the ball sooner or went to make something happen. He was confused bringing the ball up. Once he moved, he couldn't call the timeout, but that should have been decided. KrisP screen wasn't even a true screen, he basically brought over a defender and got in the way. He was confused too. And once Galloway gave up the ball, he should've gone through to weak side.
We can blame that one on Fisher as well.

Not even mad at this L. The Spurs didn't give them an inch and we still competed and had a chance to win it on the last shot. Melo made the right pass and it backs up everything we've heard about him trusting his teammates. Any other NY year besides this one and Melo takes a contested, long stepback jumper. Our squad did this on the road in San Antonio. They can compete with anyone when they play smart.
Making a questionable decision is one thing... accusing someone of playing hero ball is another. It honestly looked like he was initially trying to draw the defender earlier but they hesitated on the help, which resulted in him setting up for the shot. Then as soon as he drew Calderon's man he gave it up... you gotta stop looking for stuff bruh. Sometimes its not that deep.

Hate to be debbie downer. But if i'm the Spurs, I'm just as happy with that shot as Knick fans are (and shouldnt be)
If I'm the Spurs, I'm ok with the fact that out of ALL 5 Knick players on the court...the washed up PG that is 2 FOR 9 and with only ONE 3pt FG ATTMPT is taking that shot.
We can't be satisfied with that shot. But hopefully we'll learn.
