I like all of them but i grew up watching the older ones. Watching the ones from the 50s, 60s and 70s wont be for everyone. Acting, special effects, etc are awful but thats part of the charm. NONE of them are gonna be anything like whats dropping this Friday. But they are great late night or saturday afternoon movies where you can just space out and enjoy the fukkery of dudes in rubber monster suits fighting and japanese people trying to figure out ways to stop them.

Best serious ones:

Gojira (1954)
Terror of Mechagodzilla
Godzilla 1985
Godzilla vs Destroyah
Godzilla 2000
Gmk giant monsters all out attack

Best silly ass ones:

King kong vs Godzilla
Godzilla vs the sea monster
Godzilla vs Monster Zero
Destroy all monsters
Godzilla vs King Ghidorah
Godzilla vs Space Godzilla
Tokyo SOS
Final Wars

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Walmart had a whole rack of them today when I dropped in to get something. That brought me back to the early 90's where you could go anywhere and find those movies. :obama:

Mothra vs Godzilla is one of my favorite films.

The moment Godzilla ascends from the beach & the five minutes of ensuing chaos is :wow:

Losing the battle against two larvae at the end though :patrice: how are you gonna take down Mothra but lose to the larvae :patrice:

It's one of the dubbed lines that is said in the movie. George Takei was one of the actors (along with Keye Luke) who dubbed that film.

“In Gigantis,” he recalls, “there was one word that we had tremendous difficulty getting the meaning of and finding an English word that fit the lip movement. The Japanese word was ‘bakayaro,’ which means ‘stupid fool.’” After struggling to find something that would match, the director finally came up with the line “banana oil,” which you can hear Takei deliver in the movie’s final version.

Forgot to mention but watch the subtitle versions. The dubs change some dialogue, and tone to be more comical at times.

West where the Sunsets
Finally got my hands on all flicks. Finished Destroy All Monsters earlier. Aside from the OG, DAM is a fav. of mine now. I'm watching them in the way they were released. Got like 20 more to go. :damn:

I also bought the animated show that dropped in the late 90s. shyt is :banderas: and I was hooked since seeing the first ep.
