When has Pusha T EVER been expected to sell millions and do stadium tours?

Stop lying yourself, it’s embarrassing

:mjlol:

When did I say all that. Now you're just putting words in my mouth. I already said in another thread Pusha was never that type lf rapper but its silly to brag about selling out venues of 1000 to 1500 seats, if this any other 20 year veteran saying this it would be all :flabbynsick: and jokes.

Besides Wayne, jay, em, nas and snoop How many 20 year vets are selling out whatever venue push just sold out

You’ll try to paint push as some insignificant ant but he literally just made the biggest rapper tap out, he got drake doing interviews, writing memoirs and j Prince writing books all trying to do damage control

lol he sold out danforth music hall. a great venue, but for somebody who's supposed to be performing at 2-3k cap clubs, a 1400 cap room is pretty small.

that just means itll be an even more intimate show for the fans

prolly between ticket sales and merch he gonna be straight for that show

freddie gibbs is coming back to DC next month and performing at the U st music hall, that joint is gonna be lit, but its much smaller than the 930 club where he was at last time he was here

Damn near every artist that had a wave 20 years ago can sell out 1400 seats

You sound silly

nah man that's not how it works. when you're a major artist, this would be called an "underplay". this particular venue typically does a single artist for 4-5 nights, selling 1200-1300 tickets each night. why is he only doing one night?

but pusha's reality is he can't sell tickets, especially when you consider his "legacy". you can try to spin it as many ways as you feel, but it boils down to ticket sales.

you are certainly not able to recoup the same amount of money from 1200 paying fans than you would from 2-3000 fans. this is basic economics right?

at the same time, a huge half filled venue is a much worse look, and in today's culture "the look" is nearly as important as the $$$$.
