I'm not from the East either. Outside of Death Row and it's affiliates the West wasn't selling records like that. Literally everyone from the East was going gold or plat. It is what it is, times change. But let's not sit here and act like the East coast sound was some kinda niche or fluke in '97. That would be like, 15 years from now saying the South wasn't poppin in 2012.
