Now we can all pretend like these things had zero impact... But Drake was flawless at that point. Nobody had NOTHING to say about him.. If you did, you was just a hater and unsuccessful and not gonna win anyway.. My man went head up with SPITTERS that are known for being tough and/or having bars... None of them could even dent this man
Yet years later... forever probably... When Drake is brought up in a negative fashion, there will be two arguments against him. He didn't write all his shyt and nobody knows how much or little he actually wrote... He let Pusha drag his entire family and never did or said nothing.
In life, sales, career, bytches, etc........ Does any of that truly hurt him? No.... But it damn sure took him from Teflon to "here's some 55 year old white men who know to throw in jabs about writing and kids when they bring up Drake"
That shyt was not happening prior to Meek/Pusha
Put the chopper down bruhI agree with your over all point....but it 100% hurt him. Dude has sales, career, bytches, money, etc....in life people want what they can't have. He wants credibility. Dude did a zillion streams with "Scorpion" and still went on Bron's show to cry about Pusha T like 6 months later.
I guarantee J. Prince telling him to tap out of the Pusha T beef hurt him personally worse than the actual record....because at the end of the day dude wants to be seen as an MC. A guy doesn't cop a Clipse mic off Ebay and build a shrine to Andre 3000 because he wants to be remembered as the male version of Lil Kim. Dude wanted to be Jay-Z.
Fred.
Back again to the diss that keeps giving
Nobody cares about this. And some other guy named Nickeleus F. (out of his own mouth, uncredited) writing for Drake on "So Far Gone".
But you know....aside from all that, it's no big deal.
Fred.

I know right.Aubrey is lucky his people have control of our culture or he would no longer have a career in music after what Pusha T did to him.
