Pusha played it smart. He knew that he wouldn't beat Drake with slick word play for 2 reasons.

1. Drake being able to even pull off a diss would be perceived as a win no matter what Pusha dropped.
2. Drake has a bigger fan base. They were going to side with him, if he came to basic diss bars. And Drake KNEW this when he battled Meek Mill when he brought up the fact that he was a singer and battling wasn't his m.o.

Pusha had to go for a kill shot. He had to take it to where he knew Drake would have to take a deep pause and/or not fight back at all.

The sad part is Pusha probably would've never responded at all if Drake wouldn't have brought up his wife Pusha just dropped a dope album, so he had no reason to worry about Drake. They don't even cater to the same fan base.

I think Meek's explanation why he went crazy explained it for me. He was high on percocets & he thought he was invincible. That is so plausible, it isn't funny. Because you are just tweeting, you aren't physically approaching someone, you have this tool to just blast out any information at any time.
