Drake played the game smart
Point Blank Period
Diss tracks are cool but he has a huge fan base plus he from Canada
You think they gonna let him fall
He is Jewish
Make the hits cahs the check and play the game
Every one cant do that
Look at Common
He is playing the game
He used to be a "Conscious" rapper
He didn't pop till he got with Kanye and N.E.R.D. and started making the songs for the ladies
"And he aint rap like Common since"
Like O.C. said "Everything is either crime related or sexual"
A lot of rappers need to wear the times up pins

Dilla was never his main producer. If anything Common hasn't been the same since his main producer J Dilla passed due to kidney failure. Sure he's been able to put out hits but his bread & butter was with J Dilla. One can make an argument that the conscious scene died with him, 9th Wonder is cool but Dilla's talent carried a genre. To wrap this up, Common was established well before working with Kanye, last I checked he hasn't changed his rap, still conscious, won an Oscar w/ John Legend perhaps or maybe just performed on the track.
Dilla was never his main producer.
"The Corner" "The People" "Faithful" "Testify"Between "Like Water for Chocolate" and "Be", Dilla produced most of the hits on those albums. There was definitely a pipeline. Maybe there isn't enough body of work to judge but it's clear that Common had to find his sound a bit when Dilla passed.
Exactly... The implications for the culture are epic. Drake will always be big, but its Vanilla Ice status now...Drake played the safe and non threatening angle, to nonblacks who don't understand rap culture he'll come out victorious regardless of his response. But to black people, his imagine is in the dumps.
Push needs to keep at him man.
Law 15: crush your enemy totally!
Give your enemies nothing to negotiate, no hope, no room to maneuver.
THANK YOUKanye is already in the c00n box so why are y'all deflecting from the two targets like nikkas can't get at Wayne/Baby for going on c00n tangents? Or Drake basically saying "racism doesn't exist in Toronto, I only get racism from American blacks who say I don't understand the struggle"
Stop it.
Stick to the script and quit using feminine conversation flips.
Looks like some corporate photo op shyt man....Pusha has done more than just that photo you idiot.....keep dikkriding a jew in black face
Drake just needs to:Drake does not want to flirt with bringing Kanye into this at all. Bringing Kanye in means potentially bringing Kim in (like her or not, Kim seems ride or die for 'Ye). If Kim gets brought in this shyt it's over. Kim's clout > Drake's, especially when he's bloodied and embarrassed already. shyt, maybe it's already working behind the scenes after that first track.
I agree that Drake's best return volley is probably on some conscious shyt, but that has limited upside with potentially huge downside. If that certain side of twitter you know I'm talking about doesn't like his commentary, shyt gets nasty even quicker for him.
