This production comes from such a place of struggle at some points. That neptunes beat is just, so, Freakin, STRUGGLE!!!!

Album's getting solid reviews across the board, it just kind of feels like it's flying under the radar though. No hype whatsoever. I don't understand why artists like Pusha even sign with major labels these days because they ALWAYS seem to get the shaft when it comes to proper promotion. What good is being affiliated with Kanye and having guests like Rick Ross and 2 Chainz feature on your album when the label won't even market it? This album deserves better.....
I'd say Pusha has had good promo.

It's just that no one likes this nikka. :russ: And when I say "no one", I mean very small amounts of people. Kanye has been carrying him on his back for a while, wayyy more than other artists. Dude is just not popular.

Not sure If im interpreting your post in the way you meant, but I kinda agree, and I been supporting Pusha's music for years now.

Think there are a few emcee's in this category, I'd go as far as saying at one point Jay-Z was in that category, maybe for some he still is, it wasnt till he sat on the stoop with the kids singing annie songs, that took him to that next level of "popularity".

With his subject so fixed "both feet in the snow so that my core follows" its hard to see him get to that level but for me thats cool,

First time I listened to the whole thing today. He delivered. It's funny how I didn't expect to like Sweet Serenade track, but I love that track. That's twice CB has been on something that I ended up liking as I like that Juicy J track he did too. Not a fan of CB, but he did his thing on those songs, complimented the production perfectly.

Sweet album. Finally listened to it today. Only tracks I didn't really care for were the Kelly and the Sean/Chainz track, though neither is terrible.

It's really close to touching GKMC. I don't think quite there, but it's at least in the conversation.
