the kelly rowland joint was the only one I skip regularly.
I can see why you'd say that, but in the current climate of simpery and and Drake ballads, this joint was actually refreshing....
holy sh*t y'all were right.. i had to check every verse to make sure that wasn't mase on the kelly rowland song
pretty dope album.. is anyone surprised the only wack song had 2 chainz and big sean on it?
That shyt wack but the beat saves it. Plus the fact that Chainz/Sean still have a little pull with the younger crowd, young mfers will see the feature list & see Push down w/them, and that it got a little weird catchy beat, & he might make himself a few new fans. I respect the move, so I respect the song, seeing it for what it is...
What's really crazy about this album is that no one thought Push could crossover (and most likely he won't by TODAY'S standards,) but "No Regrets", "Who I Am", "Let Me Love You", and "Nosetalgia" (b/c of the Kendrick co-sign) could DEFINITELY see heavy radio play if promoted right & with the right visuals....
This is dope boy shyt at it's finest, but overall, any one of these tracks off the album could be played on the mainstream Hip-Hop stations and get some burn. They're not overly commercial, but not overly rejecting the commercial sound either. A very nice balance Push got going on with this album, and to be frank, this is the type of project I aspire to create soon.
