40 Bars was kinda ill, AI was talking crazy street shyt and the NBA wanted no parts it, so they shut him down. Some of the other stuff they gave him problems for was stupid, but I don't fault the NBA for that move in particular. He was still an employee of theirs.
One thing that stuck out was how AI confidently employed the off-beat flow on a real barebones beat, almost on a Kool Keith type of vibe. I wonder what his musical influences were.
