A lot of artists are doing creative stuff like this with their albums nowadays. Almost like breaking the albums down into mini playlists.

Malice got Hip Hop verse of the year, that verse is some powerful literature, lyrically he paints a vivid picture, the shyt is just beautifully filthy

On a side note: I'm starting to come to the conclusion that the 5 point or 5 Mic metric is no longer appropriate to rate Rap projects anymore, especially releases after 2017 or so.

When broken down into half points or quarter points, a 5 point metric is virtually the same as a 10 point metric.

I can’t even compare them bc I don’t think Kanye actually ‘makes’ the beats. Every beat has a co-producer, most times they are lead producer. Ie 88 Keys is first listed for Dreams of the Past
