Maybe I missed it but is this really the case? To the best of my knowledge everyone loved them both in Clipse and were then hoping for Malice to return to the subject matter we want from him. Can’t recall people shytting on him while propping up Push.

Exactly. People have said it when Push was getting love during his solo run...but like...(No) Malice wasn't dropping music at that time. It's a narrative I've seen come up that seems like it's just to throw shade at Push. Often from Drake stans or contrarians. It almost never comes from passionate or genuine Malice fans.

back in the clipse days, I couldn't even tell their voices apart. now it's obvious because in the difference in subject matter when they rap.

Same here. I used to struggle to figure out when Malice came in on the intro to Lord Willin. Their voices became more distinct by the time we got the Cheap series and then Hell Hath No Fury.
