I usually never listen to leaks but this fell into my lap and I couldn’t resist. I only listened twice though, home and the car. I’m gonna wait til Friday to really bumpI'm being patient...just disappointed we won't listen to it as a family
You may have also heard it on DJ Shadows 2002 album Private Press:
It was the single I think. That's where I heard the sample first.
10 full listens in, this album is almost flawless. Biggest flaw IMO is that Brambleton should be towards the end of the album, not the intro (like how S.N.I.T.C.H. was at the end). It's a good track, but not an album starter at all, especially not for an album as hard as this. If that and Hear Me Clearly flipped places, we'd have perfection. Imagine that song starting this album and being something we never heard before
I threw Punch Bowl & Sociopath at the end too because they are both bops
Honestly Uzi is the worst thing on the project smh
other than him it’s flawless
Don Toliver killed it!!! That has to be the next single
Stop it , no way its close to 5/5
Ye seems pretty good about crediting other people for their work. When he started using more co-producers after his first two albums, you can see it in the liner notes. I've also never heard any stories about any producers saying that Kanye screwed them over or stole their work. Kanye even went out of his way to credit Evidence on his first album for producing Last Call, even though the sample didn't clear and it had to get replayed. Same with Nottz on Barry Bonds, Just Blaze on Touch the Sky, etc.
On this new Push album, Hear Me Clearly has 3 co-producers listed.
The only talk I've heard about Ye jacking beats was actually after NASIR. A lot of those beats had a Madlib vibe to them, and there were some rumors that maybe Kanye basically remade some Madlib beats (that he didn't use from the Pablo sessions.)
I think its over the album unless all the advance copies have itIs j. Pheonix joker laugh all over the album or just the version im listening to ?!
Pusha is more playful on this than usual, i dig it
