After reading the list of producers on this i'm getting the feeling that this might end up as another Cole World and that would be the end for Pusha. He needs to drop heat like HHNF but the solo version the last thing I need is him trying to desperately get a hit song with Swizz or Timbo. I'm really hoping that it doesn't end up that way but honestly with SH dropping a dud on shady i'm starting to worry.

On another note, the hate for The Fear Of God mixtapes is insane some of you need to go back and bump them shyts again. Push killed all those freestyles and the solo songs on there like My God, Alone In Vegas and Open Your Eyes showed that he can shine on his solo stuff with the top MC's in the game. Hell i'm about to put down LIG and bump FOG again as soon as I log off here.

SINY!!
Even with the mixed feedback Cruel Summer is receiving, Pusha was a standout on his placements. This could potentially set him up lovely only.....and only if...

A. He can make a single that will get enough play to get him a solid release date.
B. If he can get it out before the buzz from Cruel Summer dies out.

The production line-up is cool with me....Swizz is the only dude I dont want making the cut. The rest sound good.

Would have liked to have seen DJ Khalil on there (he had some of the better tracks on TTCD IMO)

Yeah, thats what we all said right before that GARBAGE ass mixtape that was lazy as hell, underproduced, and badly mixed, along with cheap ass cliche videos to compliment.

And this is coming from a Pusha-T fan, that actually put people on to the clipse, but this go round, im not buying these wolf tickets. Its clear that Pharrell and his brother have more creative influence, although he is a supreme talent, he needs someone with a more creative drive in his corner. And he won't get it from kanye, because he's too busy shaving his girlfriends butthole.

That was a free "mixtape album" full of throwaway tracks.

The production value on his official album will be great.

Look at the producer lineup.

All the songs and verses he's been on lately have been fire. Exodus alone was better than the mixtape.

Wait til the album drops.

You'll see.

i have high hopes for the album it sounds like he has a decent budget to work with but yeah he needs to capitalize on CS buzz and get it out before the end of the year

HHNF is personal classic for me but the last thing he needs is to drop an album like that. As much as I love the production on that album, sonically it was very much out there and made no impact commercially for Clipse. He needs a track to makes some type of noise so that he can get a release date and while I like producers like T-Minus, Mike Will, Luger, Drumma Boy, etc, I'd be worried if that's what the production line up was looking like because they're on everyone's shyt. Hit Boy whose been making a lot of heat recently will probably be involved in some capacity and don't forget Kanye will be overseeing this and this guy is very much OCD when it comes to this shyt.

I like the direction he's taking with this album though because Pusha obviously loved the eras of Hip Hop when those guys were hot and probably dreamed of rapping over a Timbaland or RZA beat and is now in the position to do it. I never heard J Coles album cause I'm not a fan but I doubt he had production on there from legends like RZA or Havoc....
