dont think too hard, it was over once purdy got hurt. the only thing you can kinda criticize is that johnson was the 4th qb, maybe a better more expensive vet would of been better but who was really available? i wont blame johnson, hes been on 13 teams for a reason. just bad luck, oh well
yeah it was going to be a challenge with purdy healthy so once he wasn't going back in i didn't have much hope. just sucks because the 9ers defense had a great gameplan but was on the field for most of the game since the offense couldn't do anything. plus kyle not challenging the smith catch was brutal.

Defense fought hard but once Josh fumbled that snap and they scored it was effectively over. Offense wasn't scoring another TD and they needed a miracle.

That's another Kyle thing tho. Took too slow to adjust to the fact Josh was in. The only chance we had was to make it a slow slugfest and pray for defensive or st play. Kinda like the gb game last year.

Then again, I expect a vet qb to be able to handle a snap and try to get his own fumble on a perfect snap :stopitslime:

Armstead has stepped up after DeFo left but Kinlaw been a complete bust and he was supposed to be the real "replacement" :francis:

He's a bust. I can't believe I liked him because I thought Kocurek can coach him up and he had great measurable and athleticism.

Always hurt. Always plays too tall. Get pushed back despite the size. Haven't developed a single move to rush the passer still tries to bull rush off strength 100% of the time. Mediocre run defender. fukking bust.

We were better off with Ridgeway on rushing downs. Unfortunately he was on IR

I thought more highly of Kinlaw because he had a decent 2020 but those knee surgeries and honestly a general lack of improvement have made me sour on him. Maybe he can be a rotational guy but we can get that type of play from a 4th rounder.

I was surprised when we got Johnson...again. Find someone that can play. shyt I'd take Kaep and Nessa over Josh Johnson.

i dont want fangio here, he'll have bosa standing up and they'll have to get rid of the current defensive tackles
I don't think they'd be that bad in a 3-4.

Also, teams okay with 3 wide the majority of the time so Nick would have his hand in the dirt a lot. Plus, he probably has an advantage from pass rushing from a standing position.

With all that said, I doubt he comes. I thought he was going to Miami?

Wonder how we would have done if it was Baker that came in for Purdy instead of Johnson? :jbhmm:

There is nothing to take from yesterday. You can't win any game without the threat of throwing the football.

Teams from lesser franchises will try to get their digs in but they know what time it is :pachaha:

The team was simply unlucky
That’s the most infuriating part about it :mindblown:

It was like we got cursed or something. Cause everything that could go wrong WENT WRONG.

I’m not even mad at the non call on Devonte Smith. He KNEW he didn’t catch the ball that’s why they rushed to the line so we didn’t get a chance to get a good look at it. I would have done the same shyt.

The game is the game :yeshrug:

The defense could only do so much..

We were literally handicapped offensively. And the Eagles took advantage.

It sucks but I’m glad it happened HERE. Cause I would have been CRUSHED if this happened in the Super Bowl.

The football gods weren’t on our side..it is what it is..

the issue is they have no draft capital to get the right 3-4 tackles in there, you essentially have to rebuild the d line, no changes need to be made. just promote somebody already there and keep the same scheme

some guys like standing up, like haley and green. bosa hasnt done it willingly
