The underrated issue with Purdy is injuries. He got hurt in the Seattle game and now got hurt again. Can he last a full 17 games?

49ers fans Trey is not it. Just admit it. He's so raw and is inaccurate. The talent is there but I don't see him becoming good.

Hell not saying he’s Peyton Manning but remember his first season he was absolutely GARBAGE, led the league in turnovers and went 3-13.

Now imagine if someone said “he ain’t it” and never gave him another chance.

It’s unfortunate he got injured, now he finna have to fight for his spot back and if he wins, he gets the proper opportunity to show what he got. If not, I’m comfortable to say gems a better backup than Josh

Eh, I'm willing to give Purdy a shot, he didn't do anything to lose his chance, especially in this game. A lot of people in here are jumping to conclusions but Brock didn't cost us this game with his play. I would argue that him being out is what lost the game. Jimmy has shown you he can get you there but he is who he is at this point. And Lance, I don't know what we have in him and this is going into year 3.

I mean, this season saw a record number of starting QBs so we gonna have to get used to the backup QB playing 1-4 games every season regardless of what team your are analyzing. So no, I'm not expecting Purdy to last a whole 17 game season plus playoffs, I just hope that whoever is our QB1 is as healthy as possible come playoff time.

This shyt sucked because after so many years with bad injury luck we were the healthiest we've been in forever at the most important time...and then this game happened we'll probably be missing one of CMC, Deebo, Aiyuk, Bosa, Kittle in January, that's just how this damn league "works" when it comes to injuries, so wasting this chance stings like hell to me.

What's annoying is that during the entire week everyone was saying how the eagle pass rush is terrifying. I'm not saying coach scared but you gotta gameplan for your qb to account for that pass rush.


This is the biggest problem with Kyle imo. He doesn't adjust quick enough and he doesn't take in account nuances and people out there. It's a like a madden game out there for him.


Purdy should've felt the pressure coming from the right side. And that's another question mark. He's small.
