I don’t know if it does anything for Trey but my fear came true. We were fukking due. Long time 9er fans should know good things don’t last for us.I've been sorta negative on Trey Lance, but this actually bolds well for him.
Hurts has done nothing impressive. However, the THREAT of Hurts is the only reason that offense is doing anything.
It would have been better, but I think Brock was going to have a tough time against this Dline anyway.

We still not beating arguably the best team in the league with our 4th string QB. Would have been a stretch with Purdy.

This 49ers defense is one of the GOATs and gave up 21. I dont care how bad Josh Johnson is. Eagles doing all this because of the threat of someone being able to run. And thats with Hurts looking slow out there.
If Trey can at least be decent throwing the football next year they are Super Bowl favorites.
He's the 4th QB who hasn't played a game since god knows how long and he's running a 2 minute drill with him in the NFC Championship game. You're not getting me to shift blame on Josh with Kyle calling the plays.
A proper HC is getting into the half time with minimal losses and a chance to regroup, but ours put a 4th QB this year who's a career journeyman in live fire.

Yea we needed to be near perfect to win this game and there are too many self inflicted wounds on both sides of the ball. The fact of the matter is the Eagles are healthier, better coached, and are built to quite frankly to beat teams like well, us.
One thing I can say is that we need to pour all our resources into making Trey Lance a success. He will be the key I think to taking the team to a Super Bowl level.

the ugliest first half you can write up for the 9ers. it wouldn't even be bad if it wasn't for the defensive penalties. those extended the eagles drive i think 2 times smh.
this! why even risk it at that point. just run it and milk the clock to get into the locker and rally the troops.
