I actually think our defense matches up well with their offense. We can handle Sanders and their rushing attack, biggest thing is not letting Hurts make those off-schedule plays outside the pocket, we need to spy that nikka 24/7. Their WRs will get theirs, but I can see Mooney Ward having a game against Brown like he had against DK in Week 15. Devonta vs Demo is going to be the key battle on D imo. If we play at our peak on D, we can keep up with them.

As for on offense, I think last night's game was more or less an aberration. We never really got into our rhythm and played our style, the Cowboys D had us in a box and we didn't have a good response for most of the game. CMC never fully got going, Deebo never fully got going, and Brock had his worst game. Kittle was the only one who really ate, we never got to show our full hand. Eagles D is really good but Dallas' was scarier. Eagles can be run on, so we need to hammer CMC, Mitchell and Deebo. Throw the first punch and dictate the game. I'm not worried about our offense, it'll come down to the D playing lights out.

The way I see it, we gonna need like 31 points because I have a hard time picturing this defense being able to handle Hurts running around all over the field, it's always been our kryptonite under Shanahan (just like screen passes were under Harbaugh), so we gonna need the offense the put up points and control the TOP. But Philly's pass rush scares me just as much as Dallas.

Now, if we can run on them, then the whole thing changes...

Sooo, how the fukk can the defense stop Philly's offense? @yseJ @B90X @Heretic ? they look like a matchup nightmare for us with Hurts being able to run, Sanders being a tough RB behind a great OL, and of course Devonta and AJ Brown ready to own our secondary.

After seeing what the Cowboys pass rush did to our offense, I'm not expecting a lot of points on Sunday from us so can the defense truly hold the Eagles to less than 20 points? Can we at least run on them? Dallas got tired near the end but those motherfukkers were flying for 3 quarters

Our offense was extremely conservative, we could have scored more but Kyle kind of simplified things and focused on the run early on. He even said that in the press conference I think, so I'm not too worried about that. The key on defense is to not get greedy on defense by going for sacks. That means don't get too far upfield because that creates running lanes, it also helps the Eagles with the RPO. So, it's really not too difficult to stop the run. We've done a great job of that, our thing is to stop with that soft zone that's been killing us and hell, I might even go Tampa 2, double AJ Brown and spy on Hurts.

This was a defensive masterclass this week. On both sides. Only difference is that the Cowboys defense got gassed and Kyle smelled blood and ran it up their throats.

i might be caught up in the moment but fred warner is the best coverage LB i've ever seen. he made some big plays in coverage. keeping up with ceedee down the middle of the field was a huge one. not too many LBs that can stick to a WR in a straight sprint like that.

offense was ugly but they got it done. they will need to tighten up against this eagles defense. i'm thinking the 9ers will be running the ball a lot more against this weak eagles rush D.

Philly can be a better version of Dallas defense. They can rush and cover. We're not beating them with Kyle being cute or Purdy going hero ball. Kyle need to give the ball to the best players we got and let them break plays. Deebo + Kittle + McCaffrey. We're the underdogs and ain't no need for Kyle to be motioning everyone all over creation to do an inside toss.

Jalen isn't missing the deep throws that Dak did against us. DeMeco will need to pull the safeties out of the box unless the weather is bad so I think you're right in us needing to score at least 31 points to win it. I don't think this one will be a defensive slugfest.

Eagles are suspect against the run. They're bottom of the league. Their pressure rate is tops, I believe, but it's they can't stop the run you already know what it is...

Aight, so we need Shanny to be on his bag calling them run plays all game long. Philly knows we gonna run so they'll probably sell out early on. They know they can get to Brock with just 4 so if Kyle thinks he can replicate the Seattle playbook we are fukked.
