Yea, he looks polished and experienced. Lets look at a guy like Trey who clearly looks like he just hasn't had enough reps playing against subpar competition. How you draft someone like that...THAT high is beyond me.

Is Trey Lance the 49ers version of James Wiseman? :patrice:

Top 3 pick drafted to a championship contender but is very raw, inexperienced, has moments but hasn’t looked that great and has suffered injuries

Remember Purdy was a starter for 4 years in the Big XII. He's seen some shyt. Trey has a ton of ability but way less way overall experience

To add to this, although Iowa State was solid, they were always at a talent deficit.

So not only does he have the experience having to deal with the ups and downs of a P5 conference, but he's now able to showcase what he can do with top tier talent.

Oh you mean I can hand it off to Christian? Throw it to Deebo? Etc.....

Yeah, they’ve got some similarities

The difference is that the Warriors demoted Wiseman when they sent him to the G League. The 49ers were comfortable enough with Trey to make him the starter going into this year, then he got hurt. They haven’t demoted him like Wiseman…yet

My breh keeps bringing Trey up when talking about Wiseman. I keep telling him. Wiseman looking like a big bust. Trey just hasn't played. Wiseman has and when he's played he's been ass. Trey has a small sample size and his numbers are solid for someone with his experience. He needs reps badly.

Wiseman is in G league because when he plays he is pure ass. We have no proof of Trey not being able to start on NFL teams.

Man he better give Ryan piece of his new contract from his new team next season.

Bum getting more INTs now at nickel then he ever did in his whole career.
I’m sure he’ll give him some after he gets his extension

Look at Josh. He was ass his first two years. But the play calling for Brock has not been the same as it was for Trey. Let’s not skip over that. I don’t see Brock being used to run QB powers up the gut like Trey was . :scust:

Or doing the RPO half the damn time. Anyone bagging on Trey is an idiot. How do you expect him to run an offense that doesn't fit him? :heh:

You really can't evaluate him unless he is running the same offense. Not playing RB most of the time.
