I didn't think Purdy was that athletic. Still a wait and see. Gotta see how he does when team gets film on him. If he leads the Niners to the playoffs and makes a big run then he deserves to compete for the starting job. I have a feeling Kyle ain't going to give Lance a fair chance because if we being honest. Kyle only likes the upright pocket passing QBs. Any black QB he sees only as Michael Vick.

Trey has much more potential but there has to be development. See how much 4 years of significant experience helps, especially in the Big XII where you gotta have a serviceable QB to win.

Can't be developed if you are treated like a RB. One concern about Purdy is the deep ball kind of hangs and the WR has to wait on it. If a WR isn't wide ass open that's getting picked.

Purdy don’t need to be Lamar Jackson, he athletic enough.

He was athletic enough to shake the boots off one guy on that play he was dead to eights (both Trey and Jimmy would’ve been sacked) also a few of them rollouts to keep the play alive was athletic. Not to mention that TD run and the attempt for that 1st.

Anymore athletic and Kyle finna have him running between tackles like a RB.

He was we been looking for.

Just throw it a half second sooner and you have the same result as long as he trusts the receiver. I will say, Kyle is opening up the playbook with him way more than usual.

I the only reason why he is safe is because the WR is going to be wide open every time if the run game is beasting. It was today. If it doesn't than them ducks can get picked. But yeah timing would definitely help.
